The story of Ola Hassan is one of strength, ambition, and unwavering vision. Her life began in Kuwait, but it was the Iraqi invasion and the Gulf War that dramatically changed her destiny. Forced to flee her birthplace, Ola and her family found refuge in Australia, a move that shaped her future in ways she couldn’t have imagined.

Growing up in Australia wasn’t easy. Ola had to start over, learning English from scratch and adjusting to a completely new school system and culture. The Australian accent, she recalls, was another hurdle that took years of practice to master. However, her family’s strong belief in education, led by her teacher parents, gave her the foundation she needed to thrive. Every resource at home was devoted to academic excellence, shaping her values and aspirations from an early age.

A Passion for Learning That Opened Many Doors

Ola Hassan’s educational journey is as inspiring as her life story. She completed her schooling and higher education in Australia, eventually earning a Bachelor of Medical Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Melbourne. But she didn’t stop there completed master degree in leadership school of business and law from Australia and currently undertaking further studies in finance and property development.

She added an Advanced Diploma in Business Management, certification in competency-based training and assessment, and even qualifications in Emotional Intelligence and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). This diverse academic background gave her the skills and confidence to step into the business world and become an entrepreneur.

While Ola’s entry into real estate started as an investor in Australia, her experience buying her first property in Dubai marked a major turning point. Seeing the value of her investment grow significantly even during uncertain times confirmed to her that she had found the right industry, at the right time, and in the right place.

Turning Passion Into a Global Real Estate Mission

In 2006, Ola Hassan began her journey in property by buying and selling land in Australia. By 2008, she owned her first rental property and officially became a landlord.

The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 tested her resilience. Witnessing the economic challenges in the West and the UAE’s exceptional handling of the pandemic convinced her it was time to move. Dubai’s growth, driven by visionary leadership, inspired Ola to expand her mission there.

Today, she is dedicated to helping investors, especially those who are “asset rich but cash poor” in countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Europe, and the US. She encourages them to release equity from struggling properties and reinvest in Dubai’s thriving real estate market. Her work not only benefits investors but also supports Dubai’s economy by bringing in global capital.

A Leader Focused on Empowerment and Innovation

Ola Hassan’s proudest achievement is successfully running profitable businesses across different countries. For her, success is not just about sales numbers but also about the reputation she builds and the positive experiences she creates for her clients.

She is now working on introducing Emotional Intelligence and NLP coaching to the real estate industry to help agents better connect with clients and improve compliance standards. Ola also wants to create more training programs that protect and empower international buyers, especially those new to the UAE market.

Looking ahead, she dreams of leaving a legacy as a leader and mentor who bridged gaps and empowered people. Her goal is to enable more agents and investors to thrive while pushing the industry toward more ethical, compliant, and socially responsible practices.

Embracing Challenges and Staying Grounded

Throughout her career, Ola Hassan faced adversity, including hostility and sabotage driven by envy or prejudice. She learned to expect the unexpected and to always be prepared to rebuild if necessary. Her advice to others is to diversify, plan for risks, and never rely solely on one income stream.

She believes setbacks should be seen as lessons, not defeats. Her mantra: “Even your shadow leaves you in the dark,” is a reminder to stay self-reliant and strong.

A Life Beyond Business

Outside of work, Ola is passionate about empowering women and supporting disadvantaged communities. She lives an active life, working out five times a week and practicing meditation to maintain her energy and focus. This active routine fuels her success and helps her manage stress.

She shares an example of a solar film technology from Australia that can take entire buildings off the electrical grid. By connecting such innovations with UAE developers, she hopes to support the country’s environmental goals and create more sustainable communities.

A Legacy of Vision and Empowerment

For Ola, success means achieving a series of milestones that support her larger vision. Fulfillment, on the other hand, comes from living in alignment with that vision and helping others grow along the way.
