Founded in 2019 by actress Michelle Pfeiffer, Henry Rose was born from her personal frustration with the lack of transparency in the fragrance industry.
Pfeiffer made headlines by becoming the first celebrity to launch a fragrance line that is EWG Verified and Cradle to Cradle Certified, signifying rigorous safety and sustainability standards.
The name “Henry Rose” is a tribute to her two children—John Henry and Claudia Rose—underscoring the brand’s deeply personal mission to create fragrances that are safe for everyone, including loved ones.
Pfeiffer remains involved as the Creative Director and visionary behind the brand. Her collaboration with de Metz is expected to further elevate Henry Rose’s voice in the clean beauty sector.
